Guest Services Supervisor – Bell and Shuttle Services

TITLE:                                  Guest Services Supervisor – Bell & Shuttle Services                             

SALARY:                             $18 per hour starting

SUMMARY 

The Guest Services Supervisor is a guest facing representative of the club and will often be the first in-person contact for our members and guest. This individual is responsible for guest services at the club as set forth herein to keep the club functioning at top efficiency. This individual will function in a leadership capacity to assist with ongoing training and development of the bellman/valet services and shuttle drivers. Goals aligned in this position are set to provide ongoing helpful and knowledgeable service to our members and guests.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

  • Learn and cover frontline positions as needed (Bell, Shuttle, Front Desk).
  • Conduct all training necessary for bell associates, shuttle drivers and valet services.
  • Maintain performance audits for ongoing feedback and development of the bell associates and shuttle drivers.
  • Create and maintain bell associate and shuttle driver schedule.
  • Participate as a guest services duty manager to liaison and support front line guest services team members.
  • Lead and participate in regular activities and recreation setups.
  • Lead and participate in setups for special events as required.
  • Assign projects and regular tasks to bell associates for daily operations in conjunction with the Guest Services Director.
  • Assist the Guest Services Director in establishing and maintaining the valet schedule.
  • Conduct room and equipment audits as prescribed to the manager on duty.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist mailroom, front desk, and housekeeping when necessary.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist the Guest Services Director in overseeing the training and development of the bell associates, shuttle drivers and valet services team members. Ongoing support in position as bell associate, shuttle driver and cross area coverage to support the front desk team accordingly will be necessary in this role.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL OF:

  • Excellent customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in English grammar.
  • Proficient with computer software including Microsoft office.
  • Proficient in operating office equipment such as photocopiers, scanners, fax machines and multi-line phone systems.
  • Standard vehicle operation and valet services.
  • Team leadership (engaged and active) – leader by example.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years of club, resort, or other hospitality industry experience required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Experience in a leadership role preferred

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, and/or REGISTRATIONS

  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
